Indigo batik of the Hmong people

During my textile journey in Vietnam, I visited the Hmong people in the north of the country. They dye and batik their fabrics with indigo. The pieces I bought then belong on the sleeves of the blouses. You can clearly see that the small dots were appliqued by hand.
